hey guys, remember when i was paranoid about my art? i have improved a bunch since i got some advice from miss Kino a while back, mostly her telling me to be patient with my work and look i improved my lines! (also partly because minty helped me discover the stabilizer on SAI) i’m working on my friend’s old fursona that hasn’t been drawn since we were both in high school together (that’s like 5 or 6 years ago) this is the first image done of her in a loooong time. i am doing this for her club in secondlife, so the walls aren’t bare. i’m really proud of how it’s turning out and i’m sitting here outlining it at 4am while watching k-on hehe

FINISHED my hair tutorial i had was nice but it sucked…literally it lost me at step 3 because i’m not intelligent enough to understand shading INSTEAD i found an eye tutorial that made me squee, i think they look pretty <3 the words are kind of a reference to something i once told Muscles “being around you makes me feel like a sunflower in the sunshine. like the sunflower, i just want to reach for you and grow, always looking upon you, and at night when the moon rises, i droop my head and miss your brilliant company until the next day, when i can try again to reach for you and try so hard to make you mine.” then he says something like “i’m already yours” and i tell him “shut up i’m an artist not a poet.” yah that’s how it went, he should stop callin me cute, i’m totes not cute at all >:/

outline done, it felt a lot less seditious with the use of the stabilizer really lifted a hatred i had for outlining from my shoulders, it was kinda fun! not done yet i need to add color to make it look more valentine’s card-y i think i might practice with some hair coloring tutorials i found a while back, this will be fun, wish me luck :3

fuck i’m legit crying right now Minty you are the best fucking moirail i could have asked for and that is because iv’e had SAI for 5 years and i didn’t know about the stabilizer till you told me a few days ago. FUCK this outline is so clean and not as messy as my normal outlines i’m just gonna sit here and cry about it for a bit i’m not sure i would have been able to ever do this by hand without the fucking stabilizer because my hand shakes so much
